100 Best Communities for Youth Finalist

Floyd County is a finalist in this year’s America’s Promise 100 Best Communities for Youth recognition!  This is a big deal!  Hundreds of communities vie for this recognition every year.  The announcement of winners will be made via live webcast from Washington DC on Wednesday, October 12 at 12 Noon.  Youth Count is hosting a “watch party” so that community members can view the announcement together.  More info soon.
